If Via Newton is full, Via del Pergolato is a great alternative.
This parking is also free and lets you easily reach the historic center with a short walk.

Via Verde Parking ⭐⭐⭐⭐
If there are lots of people, a free option is also the parking at the Episcopal Seminary. It is located a few meters from Via del Pergolato and you can reach the center on foot in 6-7 minutes.
This parking lot has the peculiarity of being a few steps from the famous Santa Caterina avenue with one of the best views over the Val d'Orcia; you can use this avenue to get into town. MAPS
Paid parking

Via Mencatelli ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It’s one of the most convenient parking lots for those who want to get very close to the center.
We recommend it especially to those who:
- visit Pienza only for a few hours;
- prefer to keep the walk to a minimum.

Via degli Archi ⭐⭐⭐⭐
It is the newest parking lot in the city.
Very large and convenient, it’s a good choice especially when it’s busy or if you travel with children and want to find a spot more easily.
At the parking entrance you can also find the tourist office!
Watch out for the ZTL 🚫
Pienza’s historic center is affected by limited traffic zones.
Pay special attention if your GPS routes you:
- via Via delle Mura;
- into the garden area of Piazza Dante Alighieri, right in front of our guesthouse.
Before entering, always check the signs, so you’ll avoid unpleasant fines.
How to reach Affittacamere Dal Falco
If you park on Via Newton:
- walk about 400 meters;
- the route takes about 5 minutes;
- the path is easy and step-free.
If you have bulky luggage, we’ll be happy to suggest the most convenient route before you arrive.
💡 Our tip
Among all the available parking areas, Via Newton remains the option we most often recommend to our guests.
It’s free, fairly close to the historic center, and lets you reach Affittacamere Dal Falco with a pleasant walk of about five minutes.
In busier periods, such as spring long weekends, you may need to drive around a bit before finding a free spot. If you visit Pienza in summer, unless there are events or local festivals, finding parking is generally easier.
Also remember to avoid the yellow lines, reserved for residents, and always pay attention to no-parking signs.
